Rabbit NEEDS a home I went to my local feed store to buy shavings and found a rabbit in a tiny pet store cage with no food and water. There were flies covering the nasty shavings that hadn't been changed in a long long time. She told me she would give him to anyone who would take care of him. Of course I took him with the intent of finding him a loving home as I have no room or extra resources. He has a good personality and will follow you around like a puppy. He likes to be held as well. He seems in good health and his coat is nice and clean. I live in Southwest VA. Please give him a good home! The picture of the cage is just where he sleeps. He is running free in my home most of the day. I just wanted to show how small of a cage he was living in. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Rabbit NEEDS a home I LOVE that he looks absolutely EVIL. In every picture he looks like a devil-bunny. If I were closer I'd see if he got along with my rescue rabbit Patches. Patches needs a friend but I'm afraid he would fight with another male. I am planning on getting him neutered and getting him a girlfriend through the local rabbit rescue. If I was sure I could keep him and he'd get along with Patch I'd say we need to arrange a rabbit train...but I don't want to take the risk of having to rehome him. I hope the cute little evil guy finds a great home.

Re: Rabbit NEEDS a home I wish I were closer.. We could run a "bunny" train, from Virginia to Missouri! It's actually only a state away.. ^^ That would be awesome, I would definately take him in for you.. Hey, can you state your city, I just want to see how far away you are in hours. You never know, my sister's boyfriend could probably drive me all the way there to get him. *__* He drives me anywhere.

Re: Rabbit NEEDS a home Wise, VA 24293 Just a note, he neeeds to be neutered. He has gotten territorial in the 24 hours he has been here. He didnt' like my children being on the couch and attacked. Bit my daughter in the back and my son on the hand. But I am sure that was over territory. See, his lettuce is up there. ![]()

Re: Rabbit NEEDS a home awwwwwwww he sure is cute. I would take him in a heart beat. I am glad that you have a heart to get him out of that horable state at a feed store. I live too far and I am looking for a flemmish giant rabbit.

Re: Rabbit NEEDS a home I know, I was just wondering. I know some people that have moved away (animal lovers) that are near Virginia, and I could tell them (In fact, they're pretty close).

Re: Rabbit NEEDS a home Ok, he is turning into the Devil himself! Hopefully a good neuter will help.

| Re: Rabbit NEEDS a home Yeah, rabbits are hard to "train". I had a rabbit that tore my whole house up and caused $500.00 in damage (no joke). His neuter surgery did not help his territorial problem. He would chase my daughter and bite her. I finally had to find a home for him (I found a good one, too). Your rabbit looks like a hotot/netherland dawrf. Smaller rabbits tend to be more nippy. Mine was an English Lop, 12lbs. Rabbits are a lot more work to me then cavys. Ps. watch your rugs. Rabbits will dig rite thru your carpet to the floor. Burrow into your couch! Watch out! Good luck finding a home for your bun. HE is cute! Quote:

Re: Rabbit NEEDS a home The Devil (as i have named him) is settling into his new foster home here with me. He still likes to try and chew on the rug, but I can distract him with something chewable. I also gave him a towel in his cage in case the urge hits him then. He is such a cutie. He loves to play ball too. Someone here can give him a good home cant they? ![]()

Re: Rabbit NEEDS a home Thank you for your advice angelscavies. I will definately check it out! It would be easier to find him a home if he was trained better.

Re: Rabbit NEEDS a home Rabbits are easy to litter box train. They just don't get why they can not pee and poop on your couch/bed. Or, dig holes in your couch, rug, and yes, my wall! I am sure there are people out there that have great rabbits and they do not do all these things. Mine did! I will never own a rabbit again. That is just me though. I know there are people who love there bunns with all thier hearts. :0)
