Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
My mother forwarded me this email that her co-worker sent her today: "Hey Deb, Just wondering if Chels would be interested in another guinea pig? We had gotten one & Rita (my Mother-in-law) had gotten 2 more for my niece & nephew. Unfortunately, the kids did not know how to handle them. Andrew put his in his remote control car & was driving it around outside, & my niece Samantha put hers on the computer chair & spun it until it would fly off. So needless to say, Kristie (my sister-in-law) gave them to me. I wanted to keep the 2 she gave me, but I need to get rid of the 1. Let me know if you think she'd be interested. Thanks, Lindsay :-)" I'm not sure of the piggie's personality or temperament since it'll be next weekend that I get him, though I'm going to go ahead and make the assumption that he's skittish considering the fact that I will be his fourth or fifth home. Unfortunately, I believe I've finally reached my comfort-level limit regarding animal amount with seven rats, two rabbits (one's a foster), and two cats. I can foster the guinea pig for a short amount of time if need be (1-2 weeks), but after that I'll have to give him to a private small animal rescue in the area. If anyone's interested in a previously-abused guinea pig in the SE Michigan area, please reply or contact me via email. |
