Neutral : -1 (+0/-1) You can see a picture of him in my photos. Dark brown and black mixed colored. I've been following a diet of timothy hay, oxbow pellets, and veggies for him, if curious. Very shy but will come up to you if you have something to tempt him with. Wheeks when he hears you bringing his food or if you are rustling a plastic bag. Will come up to your mouth or shoulder during lap time looking for a baby carrot or a tasty veggy. I'm looking to rehome as he hasn't been getting along with my current pig. They've been to aggressive towards each other and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I'm currently looking to adopt a new friend for my other pig and when I find one, i'll be more than ready to part with him. |

Why not just separate if they aren't getting along? Pets are for life and not getting along isn't a reason to unload a pet. Sad to hear that you'll "be more than ready to part" with him. I would be devastated if I was forced to give up one of my pigs - for any reason. I don't understand the eagerness it sounds like you have to rid yourself of this pig. What happens if the new pig you adopt doesn't get along with your current pig? Will you be "more than ready to part" with him too? Last edited by CavyMama; 10-08-09 at 03:51 pm. Reason: to add |

They are separated. I just don't see the point in having both if they can't interact with each other, I rather him be with a buddy he is more compatible with and not alone all the time that's why I came here to since I know this community is a trusting community with established piggy homes. I figured the results would be slim but worth giving it a shot if I could provide him with one. |

Would you like advice on how to help him get along with your current pig? |

You can make a big cage, and put grids in the middle, that way, they won't be lonley and they are separated. |

So, I hesitate to ask, what happens if he doesn't get along with one you adopt? Will you still "not see a point" to having him? |

I agree with the noter that suggested separating them by a common wall. if you can build a 6x2 cage and divide in the middle, there would be decent room and then you could still have both pigs. I cant fathom how its so easy for you to just choose one to get rid of. Poor guy. What is it about him that makes him less worthy than your other pig? |

Please do NOT offer up suggestions on how someone can keep their guinea pigs, unless it is specifically asked for. I don't see where uglypiggy asked for suggestions in their initial post. Even though we may not agree with why this person feels the need to rehome this pig, please don't offer advice unless it's asked for. Thanks. |
