Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 My co-worker had asked me (since I have 2 guinea pigs) if I would take hers. If it was a boy I would have no problem, but it's a girl and when I called my vet to get the price for nuetering/spaying, I realized I def. can't afford that expense right now. She said she is just looking for a good home, no charges, and she has 2 cages to give away with her. I asked why, she said her 19 year son bought her b/c she was cute, but now doesn't care for her and is never home. She said she is never home either and feels bad that she can't spend any time with it. If you have any information to help me, please let me know and I will gladly forward the info to her. Thanks! |

Please ask your friend to ask an adoption fee rather than giving the animal away free. |

Paula, Quick question, is there a reason to ask an adoption fee? I just assumed that it would be better not to ask a fee. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

I'm new at this and haven't figured out how to delete this post. We were able to find a fantastic home for this sweet girl. My cousin works with a woman who has over 20 years experience with guinea pigs and was able to take her. Thanks! |
