Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 Right before i start, i hope this comes out in the right colour this time!!! !After looking into the information on this sight, ive decided to adopt some piggys. But i have a few questions im hoping you guys can help answer. Ive just looked at my nearest rescue and ive noticed that its mostly single guinea pigs that need rescuing. Could i adopt 2 piggys of the same sex, that arnt currently together? how would i introduce them? and whats the likelyhood of them getting on, or fighting? Also, are older guinea pigs harder to tame, if they are currently quite skittish? and are they harder to tame (ie litter boxes) or are they set in their ways? Thanks in advance. I decided not to buy from the pet store purely because they looked rather sickly in there, bless them, with crusty eyes. |

Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 After falling in love with two male piggys on the RSPCA website, I read their adoption rules and it said you must not have any children in the house under the age of 5! Well my eldest are over 5, but my youngest is only three months! Im really dissapointed now Ive emailed them back, to see whether or not they will consider me, so fingers crossed! I really dont want to get piggys from the pet shop,so if they wont consider me, ill have to look for other options, but the RSPCA are the main shelters here in the uk. |

I am thinking about adopting. How do I chose a piggie that will be a good companion for my piggie that I own now? |
