Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
Hello, I am currently in the process of building a cage to provide a forever home to a pair of guinea pigs. I would prefer to adopt over buying from a breeder or pet store. Any age is fine with me as long as the two are compatible with each other and myself. I live in Northern New Mexico and am willing to drive almost anywhere in the state or meet somewhere in between. I have experience working as a vet assistance and am familiar with the proper care of animals. I will do what is needed to care for my new friends. Please contact me if you need more info to make sure I am the right fit. Thanks you and I look forward to any responses. |

Have you checked Pet adoption: Want a dog or cat? Adopt a pet on Petfinder or your local animal shelters? |

Yep looked there and have sent e-mails out to a few places that look promising. I live in a small town a few hours from any other larger town or city which makes it a bit difficult but I don't mind driving. I am meeting with someone tomorrow about a possible adoption, however, it's for only one piggy. I can take her in if all goes well but I will still need to find her a companion. |

UPDATE! I found my piggies in Santa Fe! Went to see one and turns out they had two that really needed a home. Thanks all for the help! |
