2 Bonded Males plus 1 Male Friend in Arizona

Sarge & Lt. Dan are mostly black teddy mixes and came together from Arizona Piggie Poo Rescue. They have sensitive skin and very active grease glands. They are about a year and a half old. If they are adopted, they MUST be adopted together. They currently reside in a 2x4 C&C cage with a 1x1 hay room. They are very used to their fleece! Lt. Dan is mostly litter box trained, but Sarge couldn't care less. They were last treated with Revolution in April (was the third/last dose), and sometimes get dandruff. Sarge likes to snuggle by my neck, and Lt. Dan prefers chilling on my tummy. Both nibble on clothing if they need back in their cage, or will hop onto the couch and pee if you're not paying close enough attention. Lt. Dan's favorite treat is a strawberry top, and Sarge goes bonkers for a piece of carrot.

Mogwai is their brown & white abyssinian friend who lives next to them, separated by a grid. He needs to be in a home where he can at least have a neighbor. He is just over two years old. Mogwai's last Revolution treatment was also in April. He lives in a 2x3 C&C cage with fleece. He's pretty good about using his litter box, but if he's asleep in his corner cave, he's gonna poop there, too. Mogwai came to me last year from a young lady on Craigslist. He's been introduced to the other two boys a few times, and each time they appeared to get along, until the others fell asleep which was when Mogwai would pick fights and then get beat up. His nails were VERY long when I picked him up, and we are still working on cutting them back with nail trims every two weeks. Mogwai is by far more personable with humans, and will even spin in circles for veggie treats, give piggie kisses, and follow you to the fridge. He will nudge your arm and/or wiggle around in your lap uncomfortably if he has to go back in his cage. His favorite treat is cucumbers.

I have 3 changes of fleece and towels for each cage, as well as some cut-to-size old comforters to put under the towels (I find this keeps things even drier). They have tons of pieces of scrap fleece, love hammocks and fleece tents. A giant pigloo for the two boys, and a smaller one for Mogwai. Their favorite hay is orchard grass, followed by KM's bluegrass (depending on when they are adopted, I will provide whatever hay I have that's left). I have a flip-top valve-type water bottle for each cage, as well as a few extra "cheaper" bottles from Walmart. Mogwai uses a bird dish for his pellets that attaches to the side of his cage, and I also have two small blue ceramic dishes, and one larger green plastic dish for pellets (marketed as untippable, but Sarge is a bear). They all enjoy Oxbow pellets.

I no longer have funds available for an emergency vet visit, and am not comfortable keeping my boys here. The financial situation is unlikely to change in the next year or two, and I do not think it is fair for me to not be able to get care for the boys if they need it. I do have the resources to keep them living in style for a while, and if something happens in the meantime where they need a vet, I'm hopeful that I'd be able to manage something, whether it's owing people money or what. I also have a lot of medical issues that need attention (and money), which is where most of our strain is coming from.

Please let us know if you can give the boys a great home.

If they came from a rescue, you need to contact them and make plans to give them back. Your adoption contract likely required you to return them to the rescue if you cannot keep them.

I have sent an email. Thank you for reminding me, because I cannot find the paperwork.
