Need to Rehome 1 Cuddly Male Guinea Pig - Guinea Pig Cages, Care, Store, Photos of Guinea Pigs and More Forum!

I will be going away to college very soon, and well it is obvious that I cannot bring my piggy with me. My mom does not want to have to take care of him, as he is my pig and not hers. I really would like to find good home for him.

I have a cage (C&C cage) and all kinds of accessories.
He is friendly and loves to cuddle, but he has never played with other piggies so I do not know how well he will get a long with them.

Where are you located at? If I'm near you I wouldn't mind taking in another piggie.

I am in Connecticut. I am currently in Prospect, CT, but I also have a cottage in Old Lyme, CT

Thanks, Some people I know have asked me about him, but they already have one guinea pig and said that they couldnt fit the cage that I have anywhere in there house. I don't want them cramming two guinea pigs in a cage smaller then the one I have! My piggy is a pretty large guinea pig. I really hope I can find a good home for him. I refuse to just give him to anyone who asks. I could never do that.

I live in Milford, CT... I'd love to take him, but i'd have to think about it. Would the cage and accessories be included with him? I have 2 females but of course the male would always be away from the females so there are no pregnancies. That's for sure! But that definetly doesn't mean he wouldn't get just as much of attention!

The cage an accessories would most definitely be included with him. If you would like some pictures just let me know. It is a C&C cage. I think size wise it is 3 by 4. He has a pigloo and a food bowl, water bottle, and toys and such. All accessories will come included with him.

Okay, that's great! I would love some pictures if that's not too much of a hassle. I still have to think about if i'm going to be able to afford another piggie financially. I just upgraded my two piggies' cage to a 2 by 6 and they love it ! I will keep you updated though. I'm not sure if this would be too long but i should have a final answer for you by Friday. If you want pictures of my guinea pigs' living conditions (cage) etc. please let me know.

Friday is fine. I am in no rush. I want to take the time to find him the best home.
Oh and his current cage is a 2 by 3. I thought it was 3 by 4 but it isn't. I would love to see pics of your guinea pigs!

How adorable. I wish I could take him but I just started an adoption from the CT Guinea Pig rescue. Good luck finding him a great home, I'm so sorry you can't take him to school with you. I got my piggies once I moved off campus.

I know, it is unfortunate that i can't take him with me to school, but seeing as I will be a freshman, I will be in dorms and not an apartment. As long as he ends up in a good home,then i will be happy.

Currently no, he hasn't been. Ilovemypiggies1 expressed interest but I am just waiting on a reply. I should know by the end of this week. Do you have a guinea pig or would he be your first?

I used to have one long time ago. And now I have a hamster but I would love to adopt a guinea pig!!!

Oh, well Vinny is a pretty sweet lil' guy. By the end of this week I will probably be making a decision. I will let you know whether or not he has been adopted by the other interested blogger.
