Anyone in the KCMO area? There are 2 females and 2 males they have listed as babies. They are hairless and I worry about them with the way the weather changes around here. I also worry about a non cavy smart home getting them because they require such special care. So if anyone is interested I'm posting the link to one of the babies. I wish I could go get them but I am at my capacity right now for piggies. Adopt a Guinea Pig: Harpo: Petfinder If someone does get them I would like to know that they are safe and in a good place.       |

I saw them (on Petfinder)!! Unfortunately, I have to work until 6:00 everyday, and that is the same time the shelter closes. If they are still there on Saturday or Sunday, I may go look at them. I agree with you, I worry about where they may end up. Hopefully they will still be there, and I will be able to adopt at least one. |

Well, apparently the shelter is now open until 8:00 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, so I called after work today, and they were already adopted.  I just hope they went to a good home. |

Yes thank you. I too called this morning and was told the same thing. I sure hope they went to a good home and not someone wanting to make a buck. |
