I was browsing CL and found this Guinea Pigs for Adoption!!! Urgent Help Needed I feel so bad for the pigs because their owner kept them outside on the balcony. I know my cage will be big enough and I can keep them on the upper lever (2x6) and let my boys stay in the bottom level (4x6). My issue is that my husband doesn't want me to pick up anymore pigs and also I won't have space for quarantine. I live in a 590 sq.ft apartment. What do you think? Is there other ways to help those pigs? |

Another question, will my boys fight if they smell the girls living on top of their cage? |

Sometimes with the best of intentions you can do more harm than good IMO. Saving them is admirable, but not at the cost of your other pigs and your family. You have to weigh that, with your desire to help. If there is a GP rescue in your area, maybe you can put the rescue in contact with the person wanting to give them up? I'm not saying not to take them, only to really weigh what this will mean to you/your family and your pigs. |

I talked to my husband again and he won't let me pick up these poor piggies. Anyway, I emailed the owner and never got a response from them. I hope they found a good home. |
