I have a 6 month old girl. I'm going to be looking to get her a friend soon and have been keeping my eye on petfinder and craigslist, but I'm wondering what I should look for. Should I try to get a female around her same age or does that even matter? I think Zoe is going to be a dominant pig, even though I really have no idea. Any suggestions? What are the odds that when I do get her a friend she won't like her?       |

She doesn't have to be the same age. Sometimes an older or younger one is easier. You want a submissive sow if yours is dominant. |

How can I tell if it's going to be submissive? Guinea Pigs are skiddish normally. I don't know if Zoe is/will be dominant or not. When I'm in her space and she doesn't want me to be she'll start to chatter her teeth and when my dogs were sniffing her cage she squared up and started chattering her teeth then too. |
