Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 Hi all, just looking for a little advice- I am in the process of looking for a companion for my little man who's 5 months old and lonely! I went to the shelter today and they only had one male pig available. They say that he's around 8 months old, but he is huge! He is at least twice the size of my little guy! Are they full grown at 8 months or do you think that he is older than that? Also is it any danger to introduce them since he is so much larger than the other one? Any help is appreciated! Thanks |

My Chibi is huge compared to other piggies. The size doesn't determine the age. What you should consider is the temperament of the piggie. If you have a lay back piggie get an active one. Try to find out from the people of the shelter. Have you read about introductions and such? I like this thread: Guinea Lynx :: Topic - Boars Behaving Badly All introductons are different some are easy going some are harder. |
