2 Texel Baby Males with Special Needs in PA

Hello Everyone.

Im sure you've read my thread about the boys in the medical area. If not here is a quick sum up. A local breeder had a major seizure of all sorts of animals from A to Z and I rescued 2 Texel Females that were pregnant. One sow has had the pups and both boys have one eye with Lethal Micropthalmia. Their other eye is completley fine. They do need a ointmenet applied 3 times daily.
Very loving pigs that snuggle and are so friendly. They for some reason are refusing to nurse from the mom although their teeth are fine and vet O.K'd for nursing. They take Critical Care by syringe. They also enjoy their veggies and hay.

Baby Boy number one is a cinnamon agouti color with white.
Basically he looks as if his face and butt were dipped in cinnamon chocolate and his middle is solid white. He is 4 days old. He is also unresponsive to all tests by doctor so he is deaf as well. But lemme just say he is the sweetest snuggliest lil guy you'll ever meet.

Baby Boy number two is a solid black with a lil white stripe. He also has the one eye with the Lethal Micropthalmia and has trouble hearing. Im not sure if he is one hundred percent deaf yet. But the doctor insists he is. So we'll see.
He is hand fed Critical Care by syringe. He will not nurse from his mom either.
He will lay with his brother under her for warmth though and they follow her around and popcorn as if they have nothing wrong with them.

Of course you must be qualified and fill out a application. I hope to find them a nice home together if it can be arranged. We are in West Central PA. The other mom has had her pups and they are healthy and no medical issues.

Thanks again to everyone for the help with my questions in this forum. Let me know by private mesage if you are interested in more information.
