There are four beautiful female guinea pigs at the Charlottesville SPCA. I took them some veggies, hay and Oxbow pellets today. All four look to be about the same age, definately under a year old - probably much younger. Three are tri colored and one looks lilac with red eyes. They were found in a box outside petsmart.
They will only be getting fresh veggies if someone brings them in. The staff means well, but deal mainly with cat and dogs.
I would have liked to have taken them home myself. Just a little nervous to bring in new with not even 2 day old babies. Then too, that would take me up to 17 and if one or more is pregnant.....I shudder to think about it. |
