Hi. I live in northern AR and have been looking for a pair of new pigs to adopt since They were bought from a petstore and I now know it was wrong and I want to adopt but I'm having a little trouble... I can't find any!!!!!I have been looking since the begining of august, and am still having problens.I have searched, petfinder, craigs list, guinea pig home classifieds, and various adoptable forums almost daily. I really want to adopt and if you know of any piggies or rescures nearby please tell me.       |

I don't know where exactly you are in the "norther part of arizona" but there is a shelter listed on petfinder in a town called Anthem. They have several piggies listed that are still needing homes. I would try there if it's not to far from where you are. |

Did you try your local shelter? Did you try www.petfinder.com? It will give you your nearest rescue. If those doesn't work you can try www.craigslist.org (be careful there with the breeders)... |

I checked every shelter near by, and pet finder several time, and craigs list, but it confuses me so I have only done that once. |

Have you tried local newspapers in all the towns around? I got one of my girls from a newspaper ad. I got one of my boys off of Freecycle. |

No I haven't it never crossed my mind... I read the News paper every Monday @ school and I never thought of reading the classifides. |

I bookmarked the classfieds section of every newspaper within an hour or so of me and checked them all online every day. It didn't take very long before I was able to get Yahoo. |

The jonesboro and fayettville ones should be really helpful, I live about an hour away from fayettevile and I go to jonesboro every weekend!YAY!!!! thank you so much. |
