Have you tried petfinder? I know that there's a rescue in southern IN. Also, I'm not sure how close you are to MO but they have some available as well. Where are you located? I live in Central IL. Are you wanting a specific kind of girl? I have a friend in Northern IL that can help w/ transport of piggie, too. Just let me know. You can email me as well and I can try to help ya out.

I live in the Mt. Vernon/Centralia/Salem, Illinois area. I forgot about petfinder.com. Haven't been there in awhile. I'm laid off from work, so I don't want to drive a long way, gas prices being what they are. I believe people should make a statement by not driving unnecessarily and driving down the gas prices. I seem to be the only one who feels that way. I'm not looking for any particular type of guinea pig. I just need someone to keep him company.

Well, you're not far from me. I live in Springfield. I can check w/ my friend and see what she has. Like I said, we meet up for lunch and she's got a girl for me. I can see what else she has. I know she goes to the Animal shelter near her and tries to pull piggies that are in risk of being euthanized. I'll keep ya posted.
