Did you just type in NJ under state and choose small and furry for animal and guinea for breed? Marci's rescue has over 130 guinea pigs. Did you look at all of them? http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/NJ250.html www.cavyrescue.com www.petfinder.com (classifieds ad at the top) www.craigslist.org www.gpan.net (adoption listings) Yikes, I see about 30 guinea pigs under classifieds at petfinder. One person has 20 baby guinea pigs (!) and another ad sounds like their poor piggy has mites. Says the pig scratches all the time and bleeds. |

We're going to be foster-moms to 2 piggies from the Have a Heart shelter in Florence, NJ. It's a bit far from us, so she's meeting us half way to deliver them. THere are TONS of guinea pigs needing homes out there. |

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I did not get a guniea pig after all. When I was there I remembered my cage was to small so I did not adopt any guniea pigs. Thanks for giving me all of these great places once I got a nice size guniea pig cage I am going to look for one. Thanks sooooooooo much. |

Ok, I have built my C&C cage. It is 2 by 4 on the base with a 2 by 3 second floor. I would love to take a picture of it but I do not know how to get it on here. |
