| I have been looking on craigslist, petfinder, classifieds, and calling local shelters and rescues to find a male guinea pig to adopt. I have 4 boys who get along very well. When we adopted our last boy we enlarged our c&c cage to a 3x6 grid size. We also changed to fleece bedding. I have room for another boy, just having trouble finding one to adopt. I treat taking care of my boys very seriously. They get fresh water, hay, pellets, veggies and fruits daily. They also get 1-2 hours of floor time daily and each one gets held individually for snuggling and petting daily as well. If you have been looking to find your boy a new home where he would be taken care of and loved, I would be glad to hear from you. My email address is brittbritt351@comcast.net. Feel free to ask more questions from me. I would love to give a new boy a forever home. I'm not looking for a certain age, so if you have a young baby or older gentleman please let me know! | Re: Looking for male in Florence, Alabama Just to keep everyone updated, the boys are doing really well so far. I had 4 boys and then adopted Tribble and Cerk from the listing for 2 boys in Illinois and 1 had special needs. Both my boys and the boys I adopted come from very healthy and happy homes so introductions were done on this last Sunday. The dominant one Cerk tried to rumble foot and hump my fellows, they let him know right away they would do it back to him. I think he was shocked. He's kind of being laid back and kind of observing all the other boys. Tribble the submissive one has had 2 of my boys humping him. He was used to that with Cerk. No ones hurt him. He is getting braver and when he's in kitchen for floor time, he no longer hides in corner, but will stay out and eat with others. I could not be happier than I am now with 6 wonderful and gorgeous boys! Pigtures will be coming soon! |
