Unhappy 2 piggies that need new home

Hi I am giving my 2 piggies away to go to a better home.
I come from australia and i am currently overseas working and i gave the pigs to my parents to take care of, they said yes they will take good care of them.

Just yesterday i received an email from my mother saying she is getting sick and tired of taking care of the animals and she can no longer take care of the guinea pigs and she hasn't cleaned their cage for a while until now. She's also told me that they've been scratching alot and my fear is if they could have mange mites which can be deadly to guinea pigs.
It's only been 2 and a half months since i left them and i am overseas now still, so i hope they haven't contracted the mites for too long.
Mum does not care much about the pigs now and she is reluctant to really care about them enough to take them to the vet.

She said she is going to give them away for adoption but it's not her decision to make, she obviously failed to look after them after she said she would so i am very angry with her.

I don't want her to give them away to someone who might feed them to snakes or mistreat them or just be as worst as she is. I'm sorry but i am really frustrated right now.

I am overseas and I can't just get up and leave my job which i have been working so hard of an effort to do and achieve. I can't just throw away everything in my life and plus i don't have enough money to save up for an airfare ticket until next month or it could take me longer. By then it could be too late for my little babies.

I want to go home but i cant afford to just yet. So I am putting them up for adoption so they can get treated with help and tender loving care as soon as possible. I don't know how worst their conditions have gotten but because i love and miss them so much and i am so upset i can only assume to the worst of things.

My situation is really difficult right now, i don't have much money and i can't reach out for them and help them because my mother is a psycho to me now. So please if any one of you guys out there want guinea pigs and know all about guinea pigs you are welcome to contact me.

1 guinea pig is short haired / white albino/ Jasmine/ 2 - 3 yrs old now
2nd guinea is a rosette haired/ white, black, brown/ Mocha /about 1 year old now.

The pigs are currently in Queensland Australia / Gold Coast. I hope some of the viewers are aussies out there please help. Contact number is : +61755228656 email is: mojododo@msn.com

I would really appreciate it if I could get some advice without having to give them away because i would love to keep them, this is just if I have no other choice.

What should I do???? I am so confused and heart brokened.
