I'm getting a pig!!!

She's even getting dropped off on sunday!!! This is her, getting her from Craigslist, I have looked into rescues(there are none to close to me but would have made the trip) as well but am always checking Craigslist and there she was! I may get her a friend in the near future. she is 1.5 yrs old, and ya gotta love the stupid reason for giving her up. If you can't take care of a guinea pig...how ya gonna take care of a baby? sheesh, but I will have a guinea pig!She obviously will be having a nice new big cage soon as well! Free Guinnea pig to good home

Congrats! She is beautiful. I think you can consider her a rescue as you did not purchase her from a petstore or breeder.

aw thanks! yeh a rescue of sorts (would never go through a breeder or petstore!), maybe her mate in the near future can be from an actual rescue.

I got my pig I got my pig!!! I actually got her yesturday and considering she's not got much attention from the previous owners she is a real cuddle bug! All i did was pick her up and the woman said "gee I don't remember the last time she got this much attention" then went on to say she needed to clean up around the place reffering to getting rid of the pig...real nice. She met my neighbors pig and they adore eachother! I wish I could take the pig from them as it seem to be a love at first site, ran to eachother and starting grooming.

Very cute and congratulations, I too dont get people rehoming because they have babies. I had most of my animals before I had and kids, and I still have them.

I would just be careful exposing her to any piggie until you have quarentened her and know that there is nothing going on with her.

I named her Luna pig!!!Her name was scruffy...She's def not a scruffy!
I don't think I will be able to get her a friend until I find my 3 rescue rabbits a home which I have not had much luck with, a few almosts but ended up being a no go. I would keep them but space is tight and my rabbit is not thrilled to say the least with sharing his territory!
Anywho thanks all! I will have pics soon! And if anyone knows of anyone in new england looking for a pet rabbit please let me know, ya know seeing how I all ready brought it up!
