Two Aby Males Needing Forever Homes:Houston,Tx

Hello Everyone. A friend of mine, who also owns a rescue, is trying to place 2 male guinea pigs (see pics below); The boys are bonded with one another, which is perfect because guinea pigs do best 2 or more. I would take them, but I can't. I actually have the sister of the red/white male that is part of the duo up for adoption. Awwww!

Oh man they are too close. I am sooooooo tempted. I am just kinda scared to add them to my boys and I don't want 2 cages. What to do, what to do?

How old are they? Details, please.

I know that is the problem. **sigh** The brown/white one looks so much like my Digger did and that other one just looks soooooo fluffy. I am afraid I may have finally run across some I can't resist.

You could go see them then you'll have to get them hehe and four boars could work but make sure to quarintine if you do get them. They are adorable I love the red and white one's blue eyes so beautiful. Tx_2_pigs go find your keys and go get those piggers! Just kidding but maybe if you have the room

I agree we need more pics I hope Tx gets the pigs. Either run or take a bus if you can't find the keys hehe.

Hi Everyone! I know, they are adorable. I really would have loved to take them, but I can't *sigh*

My friend, Lisa, really wants the piggies to get a good home. That is why she has had them for as long as she had, because she specifically wants someone who can provide the proper care for them (and love!)

I am not exactly sure how old they are, you'd have to ask Lisa. The red/white boy was actually born after my Daisy, so while they are brother/sister, Daisy is older. Lisa rescued two piggies who were supposed to be of the same sex, and it turned out they were of opposite sexes. Hence, how I got my two girls (Daisy & Delilah, the daughters of these two piggies); Lisa didn't seperate the pigs soon enough because just a while later, the female was pregnant again. Lisa was beside herself. She has had some inquiries on the piggies, but nobody she feels comfortable with. She wanted me to take them because of the good home I have given the girls, but as much as I wish I could, it is completely not feasable.

Tx_2_Pigs - You could just make a larger cage and seperate it if needbe. If space is a problem there are many ways to work around that. When I got the girls, I wasn't sure what I was going to do, because I had to seperate my boys, but I actually finally rigged up three whole cages, that only took up the space of two cages

I really want these pigs to get a good home as well, there are way too many people out there who are not able or willing to take proper care of piggies.

The sister of the red/white male you are getting (if you get him) is the one on my profile pic. Oh, and wickedrodent has the brother of my Delilah (who is also from the same lady)

Hi ! I sent you a reply to your private messege, and I also forwarded your private messege onto Lisa. I got an email from her saying they were going to Tx Rustler's GP rescue - so I don't know if she didn't get your msg or what ? She is normally pretty good at emailing back, so as soon as I hear something I will let you know (and I forwarded your number onto her as well)

Aweee, I am so excited for you!! What a wonderful Christmas present for your family and those pigs!! The pigtures were too cute, as was the slideshow!! I had started a myspace page for my animals, but I have to go back and update it, but if you have one, send a friend add!
