Need help transporting from TO to Buffalo

Hi guys,

I have been made aware of 6 lab pigs in the Toronto area who will be euthanized on Friday (Nov 2nd) if they can't find somewhere for them to go. I can't take them into Guinea Pigs R Us as we're currently a wee bit over our limit.

A rescue in PA is willing to take in the piggies and meet someone in Buffalo, but I can't cross the border as I don't have sufficient ID. Is there someone close to the border who would be willing to meet up with me and then take the piggies across to Buffalo? Or something like that? Please let me know asap!!

Transport doesn't have to be this Friday, it can be over the weekend (preferably) or even into next week. I think I have a place they can be housed temporarily, but not for any extended period of time.

Have you already worked out what will be involved in taking the animals across the border? I'm not in the area, but if you can assure anyone who is that all the details have been taken care of, they may be more willing to try to help.

I think we have transport already arranged! I have discovered that I only need a driver's license to get across the border, which is less than I previously thought. I will update if things change!

I know, it is confusing with the I.D situation. Right now we only need photo I.D to cross the border, but starting in January, we will need a passport. Have the pigs been rescued already?

I live near Buffalo, NY and could also help. I have brought rescue piggies over the border before and it's no big deal. You don't need any vet info or paperwork. Just your driver's license.
