URGENT-- Help Needed In Texas

The lady that I have adopted Dudley from has 5 pigs that she needs to find a home for ASAP. I have her email address so if anyone is interested pm me and I will give it to you. If she doesn't get them adopted out soon she is thinking of taking drastic measures-- petstore--

3 females (mom and 2 babies)

I would love to help her by fostering, but its just not an option for me at this time. I know there are lots of Texas members, I would be willing to help do a transport if necessary.

Oh that little black/brown/white one looks almost like Chopper. Is that one of the boys? Or is that Dudley?

Would there still be a fee if they were fostered and not adopted?

I sent you a message back. I don't know which are which. Dudley wasn't one of the babies, he is much older (6 months).

Im not sure on the adoption prices, you would have to email her about them. I pmed you back with the email address.

She will most likly have a fee regardless to insure they go to a good home, which I believe is a great idea. Although, any piggie friendly home (rescue even) is better than a petstore.

Oh, I just found out-- The babies are Dudleys children! I didn't realize that.

Thank you, I will definatly let you know.. If nothing else I will try to take them and get them to you, I don't want to see anything bad happen to the pigs especially since they are Dudleys kids. (Wow, that was a shock to me!) I would love to keep the girls but would probably be shunned by my family.

Yes, I got to talk to her this weekend. She said they are probably getting ready to move so right now isn't a good time.

I am going to pass at the moment on the boys. I just don't want to take on any more right now. I have a lot of things around the house I need to get done and I haven't been doing them for this reason or that. I need to buckle down and get my house in order first.

I had a member of this site willing to transport them all the way to you. Unfortunatly, they left this morning, no pigs in tow. The lady that has them had to work and couldn't get them to her in time. I did offer to help by picking them up and meeting somewhere, I do not know why she did not take me up on the offer.

She did say that she might be able to get another transport together, I do not know when.. If I hear anything else I will be sure to let you know. If the gas wasn't so horrible I would drive them there myself- maybe I can plan a weekend vacation with someone and split the gas money. Drop them off and then take a Dallas tour or something.
