Unhappy A pair of bonded females needing a home in Orillia,Ontario (and area)

I feel incredibly bad for doing this, and I know this is not their fault. It's mine.

My life has gotten incredibly busy as I have gotten older, and I regret to say that it will just continue to get busier and busier. And with University in a few years, I will not be able to bring them.

So here I am. I have two female guinea pigs I need to rehome. They are currently living in a 5x2 C&C cage, and I will give the cage to any person who wants to adopt them. Whether or not you want the fleece is up to you. I am willing to travel to get my pigs to a new home if someone here wants them. I would feel confident knowing they got a good home if the new owner is a user here.

I have two American guinea pigs, and they are both sisters. It is imperative that they get a home together, as they are incredibly bonded. They are 18 months old.

Here is the larger female, Annie:

She looks just like her sister, Kit, but you can tell them apart by small differences. Annie has three white toes on her back feet, and she has a larger crest. She is also more pear-shaped than Kit, and generally larger. Annie is outgoing, and quite rambunctious. She is willing to do almost anything for a carrot, or for a small piece of cantaloupe.

Here is my small, sweet girl, Kit:

She is quite shy, and noticeably smaller than her sister Annie. Although she is usually shy and sweet, she can be quite stubborn, and it takes an effort to get her to do what you want of her. She loves cilantro and tomatoes, and doesn't really like strawberries. She loves sleeping in blankets.

It is really hard for me to do this, and I am almost tearing up realizing how much I love them. But I know that this is the best thing I can do for them. It would make me feel really happy if my pigs went to an experienced and loving home, with older children. I don't want to regret the choice I made, or wonder if my guinea pigs are still doing well in their new home.

I would really appreciate staying in contact with the new owners as well (pictures etc.)

Thank you! Message me, or post, if you are interested.
Kylie
