It's 2-3 weeks because some people get their pigs from a reputable rescue who will have quarantined the pigs themselves beforehand. A lot of people will prefer to give it a couple of weeks in their new home before introductions just to be sure.

Because this site is international, alot of people are from other countries where English is not their first language. Speaking with proper grammar is often easier for them.

And this site is, indeed, run by women. That fact is probably why it is the remarkable site it is, and not some teeny-bopper hell hole filled with "OMG, , idk that wuz tha bomb" type crap. This is a factual, information based site, and the moderators intend to keep it that way.

I am going to close this thread as it will serve no further purpose since saltwater cavy has been banned. He neglected to follow simple rules and resorted to childish behavior such as posting derogatory comments and cursing, along with cursing at mods in private messages.
