I am willing to adopt female piggy in North Idaho/Eastern Washington

We recently started with a young female piggy, which was purchased at a local Petco. I am willing to take a second piggy into a great home, if the piggy is female and a reasonable distance from Spokane, Washington.

Just a note - if you got this piggy from Petco, PLEASE take it to a VET, if you have not already done so. Petco is notorious for selling very very sick, abused, and neglected animals.

Also, here is a good place to go to look for guinea pigs to adopt

there are a couple of guinea pigs that are males in Bellveiw Washington. Not sure if that helps any.

I am a little bummed that they are charging $45 per guinea pig, where I just bought one at Petco for $30. I had hoped to offer a home, food, attention, cost to pickup the piggy, without a surcharge of some kind.

true but neutering is always an option.

yes, neutering is an option. However, mcarr might not want to go through that semi risky and possibly personality altering procedure.

. But at least he can add that shelter/HS to favorites so he can check back to see if there is any female piggs later.

. But I guess $3 will get a lot of people interested in adopting them.

Try www.cavyrescue .com, look for classifieds and rescues.
Look on petfinder classifieds and adoptables.
Look on google for a shelter or rescue near you.
