I don't know if it might be a breeder, but this was the first thing i thought of! You can really tell those that care about their pigs. I randomly search the pets section of craigslist, well, because I'm weird and I do that even though I know I can't take anymore. I'm finding more and more listings in my area for baby pigs so it sounds like someone is senselessly breeding them. They don't really give any information on them in their posting, just "guinea pig 10 dollars" or "orange and white guinea pig 8 dollars". It really is sickening. Hopefully someone sees it that is worth something and goes and gets them.
Edited to add-- One even listed "Guinea pigs $14.00. Mom and tons of babies. I checked out petsmart and they are selling for $24.99"
