adult boar in Indiana

I have an adult male guinea pig for adoption, I got him from the HS and I'm finding him a home myself. I would love to keep him but financially I just can't. He is an adult shorthair black and white GP. He's pretty friendly and doesn't mind being held. I haven't had him around my two boys yet as i'm treating him for lice. If anyone remembers I got Squirt from the Humane Society and he caught lice from there so every rodent at the HS is being treated currently. Anyways he's a very good boy and there will be an adoption fee for him. I would like to get him neutered before he goes, so we'll see how long I have him with me first though. I'm in Northern Indiana if anyone is interested.

Why are you getting him neutered first? It may not be necessary and I dont think you should put him through that if you dont need to (honest question here, Im not arguing with you about it - just wondering if you have a reason that I had not considered).

Well if by chance my mom does let me keep I want him to be neutered. I don't know I guess that's my only reason. But it doesn't look like it will happen though, I'm currently looking for a new job right now hoping to do petsitting and dog walking this summer.

He's not adopted, well not really. I used to work at the Humane Society but do to some personal problems I had to quit. I brought a few animals home with me to rehome myself due to the fact that they are remodeling the place.
