looking for young female in indiana: abbyruvian? We currently have two female abbyruvians and one male abbysinian (he is going in to be neutered on Friday). We are hoping to add one more female, and are hoping to find another abbyruvian. I know this may be difficult because we will not go to a breeder, just kind of hoping there might be one out there that was meant for us. I have began to think of them as Prince Mango and his Abbyruvian Pricesses, Coconut and Papaya. We will consider other breeds. I have checked the local humane societies and rescues within an hour of us. I have checked all the online links listed on the "rehoming" sticky on this forum, and the ones listed on guinea lynx. I have not been able to find a young female (and honestly, very few pigs at all) near me. I am in northern Indiana. Can anyone help?

Re: looking for young female in indiana: abbyruvian? I'm not sure where in Indiana you are, but there are a lot of pigs for adoption at different rescues. EARPS Inc. Humane Society of Indianapolis - Welcome Page Petfinder.com

Re: looking for young female in indiana: abbyruvian? I tried the links suggested by Amber23, but only found one even close to me. She was two hours away, and had actually already been adopted. I know there are rescues in the Indianapolis area, but that is about a four hour drive for us. It just seems like we should be able to find some one closer to us that is in need.

Re: looking for young female in indiana: abbyruvian? And call your local rescues and let them know you're looking. Sometimes they have piggies that aren't posted. Good Luck!

Re: looking for young female in indiana: abbyruvian? I have tried all these ideas. I will keep trying, but I just dread the thought of going through all those postings on all those sites day after day. I was just hoping some one on the forum would have the piggie that was meant for us!
