Is there anyone in or around Austin that is looking to adopt? I have 3 females who need a home. I have been wanting to rehome them for awhile, but have been scared due to the people on here that critize you for wanting a better life for the guineas.

I have no problem keeping them, but I'm just not a guinea pig person. They don't get as much time out of the cage as they should and the weeking drives me crazy. I love watching them run around and have fun but I am in school 7 hours a day, 5 days a week and I work 10 hour shifts the other 2 days. It's just not fair for them to be cooped up all the time.

I don't want them to go to someone who isn't going to take care of them. I'd rather just keep them. I really do care about them and that's why I want something better for them.

I am in Austin and I wish I could help. I have 2 boys and I don't think my boyfriend would be in the least bit thrilled if I brought home anymore. Good luck and I hope you find someone suitable.

I'm in Austin too, Im also looking for a piggie but I have a boar, sorry. Plus I'm still in school and could never handle 4 piggies. Put an add in the Austin American Statesman. Im sure you can find someone that way.

Ummm...Thanks a lot for the suggestiong, but if you look at the date this is from 2 months ago. I rehomed my guineas a long time ago.
