Two 1 year old Female Guinea Pigs

I Have two female piggies that need a good home. I live in providence, ri but would be flexible in meeting someone from a bit further away. I got the girls from a friend of a friend who was not taking care of them, but three is a bit to much in a small apartment, As i have my own guinea pig Matty (boy) who has been confined to a sad little store bought cage so the girls can have the big one. I have grown attached to the girls so I will only take serious inquries and preferably someone with guinea pig expireince. The girls are healthy and perky. lorilei is more layed back likes her lap time. Bernadette is a bit more festive and enjoys her floor time. They are vocal and cuddly. I will only rehome them together as they have been together since birth. There is no immediate rush so please be certain you wantthe responsibility. They are great pets.

My email is katie.riddell@gmail.com. Thanks

First pic is Lorilei second is bernadette. I also have a video on you tube of them running about if your intrested.

Re: Two 1 year old Female Guinea Pigs

Hi there,
I may be interested but it would take me a while to set up a new space and a new cage for them. I currently have two boys that I am in the process of introducing to each other.

I live on Cape Cod which is not too far away. I will be upfront and say that I am new to guinea pigs. However, in the past month, I have spent hours and hours each night doing research. I also have found a fabulous vet in my area that I just took the boys to for a wellness checkup and they are doing great.

If you do not end up finding someone closer, with more experience, please consider me. But again, I would need time to organize and set up their space.
Thank you.
Pam

Like I said there is no rush, I'd rather you be ready for them. Will you be keeping the boys and girls seprate?

Re: Two 1 year old Female Guinea Pigs

My 4th try typing a response. It keeps disappearing on me, so I will make it shorter.
Yes, definitely housed separately!
My boys have a double decker C&C cage (2x3 for each one) with floor play area attached. I'd do the same for the girls only a larger cage since they are together. (2x5 or bigger).
I am considering fostering down the road, once my play room renovations
are complete. I do want you to know that.
I will house the family members in the family & living room and the fosters in
the downstairs playroom. I want to be sure all family members & fosters
are totally comfy and happy in their new homes!

Re: Two 1 year old Female Guinea Pigs

Awesome. Just let me know when you'll be ready. I've only had creepy badly misspelled emails from petfinder. Clearly my ad said two girls i'm not going to give you my guinea pigs if you type me an email that says hpw much for your pet is it a he or she.

Creepy.

Id like to avoid my guinea pigs being snake food so don't woryy your top on my list

Re: Two 1 year old Female Guinea Pigs

oh and i posted a whole bunch of pictures of the ladies on the the classifieds of this site if you want to look.

and here is the you tube video link. Please excuse there messy cage with there sad little cardboard box house. I had to improvise when i first got them. ANd the poor piggy in the little cage is my matty. He gets plenty of floor time to make up for his cage.

YouTube - Guinea Pigs

Anyone who sees this its just temporary please don't yell at me .

Thumbs up Re: Two 1 year old Female Guinea Pigs

Could I have a moderator take this listing off? I have decided to keep the girls, I moved the living room around and built a bigger cage. I will also be saving the money to get matty fixed so the whole point of me getting him friends wont go to waste.

Thanks
