Yup, in St.Louis. All the girls are in the cage, and the boys are in cardboard boxes in the back. I don't know why they just won't adopt the boys out, they never go out anyways.

Re: Guinea Pigs at a ZOO!

In the Uk there are some "farms" that are open to the public and it's quite common to have small animals in there. There is one in my locality, tractor rides, tea room, pets corner etc. Now while it all sounds very nice and innocent, these farms always state in their ads "plenty of babies" for cuddling. Yes, there are plenty of babies because they are happy to allow their small furries to produce cute little babies for the public to oooh and aaaah over. Not a fan of these places!

Hopefully this is not the case at the zoo you are visiting.

Re: Guinea Pigs at a ZOO!

CavyKind I know what you are talking about. I was at the train station the other day, and they had leaflets for days out. There was a farm that has baby rabbits, guinea pigs etc to pet. Never been to one, so I don't know what they're like.

Have you heard of Chessington world of adventures Cavykind? Thats where I saw some pigs last year. They have a seperate 'zoo' where there are gps
