I have two male guinea pigs, 1 and 2 years old, that I just adore. Unfortunately some new ownership in my apartment is insistent that I find a new home for them. There is one humane society in my area, and they specialize in dogs/cats but also take in guinea pigs. I have visited them but their pigs are in store bought cages and they aren't a "no kill" clinic. I have also asked around to people I know would take great care of them, but no luck. I live in Marquette, MI. It's in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and I doubt anyone on this forum is from the area. My pigs mean the world to me and I am just lost at what to do. Any suggestions? Plllease help!       |

They are just adorable. I'm very sorry you have to rehome them. You can try listing them in your local paper, on the classified section of petfinder.com, on Craig’s List, on the adoption forums on Guinea Lynx :: A Medical and Care Guide for Guinea Pigs and Guinea Pig Rescue and Health Forum - Pigloo.net, on the cavy classifieds http://cavyrescue.com/cc.htm. I'm sure others will come on with more resources. It is very unfortunate. I wish you the best of luck in finding your two boys a great home. |

Oh my goodness! What beautiful boys! If I lived closer, I'd be so tempted to take them. I do hope they find a loving home. I'm very sorry you have to find homes for them. Good luck! |

OHHHHH they are so precious!!! I wish you luck in finding them a home. I wish I lived near you, I would take them in a heart beat. |
