With much to-do for me, I have decided to keep Harry. I have increased my base cage floor size to 4ft. x 8ft. = 3.5x 6.75 C&C and plan to build, easily removable for cleaning, second story ends and run.
The peeing contest between Harry and Neville has yet to cease but I think it will work out . I had Harry in a cage adjacent to older main 2x4 c&c so he and Neville have been seeing and smelling each other for a week now, and they have met before with too small a cage space I have learned. Thank you all for the advice and support, mostly Harry thanks everyone. I do feel sorry for my Goerge though he is a little lost and a little more bullied at the moment , I have given him some extra love but I know he needs to part of this to make or stake his claim in all this.
I will show pics of my build when I get it up and running.I have changed from C&C base wall to "Closet Maid" rip-off wire shelving from Home Depot. It comes in runs of different lenths, mine were 4' and 8' long . With my old build the pigs could kinda allude you if they wanted to so I have got all trianed to come to me by treats and I leave the mean guy role to my other half..LOL so they always trust me even though I hand them off to Bill to clip nails and such. I will do the clipping but he holds the babies. I think Neville, the oldest, my be smarter than one of my dogs...LOL he knows his name, pretty much tells you what he wants for a treat, and loves to give 'butterfly kisses' with his whiskers... and tells time as well. Kid you not , if I am not up at the official fresh hay, put the dogs out and come talk to time, he will start wheeet wheettting til he gets all three doing it now. Drives my dogs to the brink of insanity, o my' get that and a fire truck( all three dogs howling) you will get up I promise ya.   |
