| More than twenty guinea pigs in Sonoma County I didn't see a post on this, so I'll put one up. Animal Control in Sonoma County had about 24 guinea pigs available! This is more than they can comfortably house. There are beautiful Americans and silkies, males and females. Several are pregnant, so there will be pups coming in the next few weeks. Cavy Spirit has taken in seven (yay!) so I believe many of those guys will be available for adoption through http://cavyspirit.com. Or adopt another waiting Cavy Spirit pig - and maybe make room for more shelter pigs to come out into foster! The others are still at the shelter: http://www.petfinder.org/shelters/CA416.html If you would like more information on the guinea pigs remaining at the shelter, you can contact the shelter directly, or write to me: moroccobound@gmail.com . |

| Re: More than twenty guinea pigs in Sonoma County I live in Sonoma County (Healdsburg) but I, unfortunantly, cannot get another one. My parents have an issue with my current piggy, and I wouldnt be allowed another one. |
