I am hoping to find a wonderful loving home for two young boars (about 2 months old) in NC around the Raleigh area. My husband got me a female piggie for my birthday, we soon found out she was pregers when she had one sweet baby boy on December 1 2005. I also rescued a baby boar from a bad petstore situation shortly after our baby was born. The two guys have been living together now since the first of January and get along wonderfully. I now have three girl pigs in a large C&C cage and just do not have room for another big cage. I feel the boys deserve as much room as the girls. I am also worried once they reach puberty they would not be able to peacefuly stay in the same room as the girls. One of them is a beautiful red and white Rex or Teddy? This is our baby Bailey. The other is a striking silvery gray, Owen. ![]() It makes me sad to think about the boys leaving. So I am going to be extremely picky about who gets them. |

OH, what handsome boys. I live in NC, but I just had my little boy fixed so he could live with my little girl. Unfortunately I don't have room for another cage either. However, my sister has fallen in love with my guinea pigs since I got them, maybe she is ready for a couple of her own?...I will ask around for you and try to see if I can help find them a good home. |

They're really adorable, but being in Richmond and carless right now, it would be quite difficult getting them. Good luck finding homes for Bailey and Owen. |

I am from Raleigh and in search of a buddy for Roscoe - after he gets rid of his fungus behind his ears. Are you wanting these to go as a pair? |

Actually no. I have decided to have Bailey neutered so he can live with my girls. The idea of not seeing his chubby face everyday was to much for me. So I would only need a home for Owen anyway. I would love it it someone with another pig would get him. I would not want him to live alone. Your situation sounds perfect. Owen (my son insist his name is Jack, so we actually call him either/or) is a very handsome pig. He is still pretty timid when I first come up to the cage, but warms up quickly to the veggies. If you have any questions about him please ask away. |
