Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
I want desperately to adopt a spayed sow to be a cagemate for my boar, Kosmo. The rescuer I adopted him from said he does not get along with other boars. I am aware that I could try to place a younger boar with him, but if he won't accept him, would have to divide the cage and I really don't want to do that. If I can find a spayed sow for him to cuddle with, we would both be happier. |

It would be easier to neuter him. Spaying is more invasive and expensive. There's no guarantee that a sow will like him. You may have to try a few different ones. |

There are spayed females at the Humane Society in Indianapolis. http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/...?petid=5716397 http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/...?petid=5467785 |
