Looking to adopt in Northern or Central NY

Looking to adopt a female cavie in Northern NY or Central NY. I am in Watertown, Ny..so anywhere that is no longer than a 2 hour drive.
Sonic needs a friend.

Have you checked with your local SPCA? Also check www.PetFinder.com. They have tons of piggies up for adoption. PetFinder also has a classified section and a list of local rescues/shelters. Good luck!

Yeah my local spca doesnt have any piggies. And I checked petfinder. Nowhere near here had any piggies either

You can also check your local newspapers. There always seems to be people looking to rehome their piggies. Just make sure that their not breeders!

yeah..ive been checking the local newspaper everyday too. Just thought I would make a post here just in case someone had any up for adoption in northern ny.

OH my god I know..they are so so cute. I love them all. I already did a mapquest and it said it would be a 4 1/2 hour drive. And in the winter around here..that could mean 7 hours.

I checked mapquest as well. Maybe she has some fostered closer to you or could recommend another rescue close by.

I do often meet adopters partway, and occasionally a transport can be coordinated if there are volunteers along the route. I do have previous adoters out that way, and folks who have helped with transporting piggies. If you are interested, do email me for an application.
