I sure hope not! But they are very adorable... if I didn't have 7 sows already I would take a girl. Don't forget, that boy needs to be separated at about 3 weeks old or you could have 3 pregnant pigs! I've had two accidental litters (both purchased from people who didn't know any better) and I've found that girls are way more common... (out of 7 babies, 6 were girls). So be careful and good luck! |

There's no need to be rude. I was just trying to be helpful because I noticed you were new. You just said in '4 or 5 weeks' so I thought that maybe that's when you were separating them. And thank you flowerpower :@... I didn't notice you got to posting before me. Last edited by Chloë-Jasmine; 12-15-05 at 12:44 pm. Reason: Noticed someone replied before I did... |

No one said you were stupid Macayle. It was a reminder since you mentioned the 4-5 week time period. I'm pretty sure Macayle isn't a breeder Poppy. At least not anymore. This litter appears to have been accidental when her boar escaped from his side of the playpen during playtime. |

That still qualifies as a breeder. I'm not going to get in to this discussion, but I'm sure someone else will. |

I agree with PM - Macayle is not breeding any more. Lovely little babies - pity I'm a continent and an ocean away! |

I would call myself a breeder, I have one boar and two females. They are all Shaggy Shelties and I have had 2 secsseful litters. |

Well why come on this forum..........We do not like breeders! And there is no such thing as a ''shaggy sheltie'' They are just shelties and if they are not pure breds then they are just pets poppy xx |

If you have ever bred on purpose, you're classified as a breeder. |
