old sock

Hi
I read on here that you can fill an old sock with bedding and the pigs will love it. Do i fill it with pine bedding or with bedding like in a pillow?

i wouldn't use pine (unless it was kinlin-dried), and definitely don't use cotton inside the sock (can cause inpaction in the intestines if swallowed). if your gonna use wood, use aspen inside or you can stuff the sock with alittle bit of hay (the scent will drive them to want to investigate the sock and toss it around).

Wont they chew it and choke on the threads??
