Question is it safe?

Last night I thought that it would be fun to take my recently used-up paper towle roll and stuff it full of veg for my Pig. And All was fine until I realized that there was an extreem amount of tissue still stuck to the roll. I figured i'd pick that all off and go on with my plan. But the more and more I thought about it... How safe if the glue that they use on the toilet paper rolls along with the Paper towle rolls. This one had a whole bunch and I just tossed it. Just wondering if anyone noticed this as well or if it was just me?

Re: is it safe?

My paper towel rolls have tons of glue on them. I don't use them because they chew on the tubes.

I used a toilet paper roll to stuff some hay in for my new guy during his trip to the vet so we didn't get so much hay everywhere. There doesn't seem to be as much glue on them as there is on paper towel rolls. But none of my pigs seem to chew on the roll all that much. Just a little on the ends.

Re: is it safe?

They are generally safe. Unless you notice your pig eating a ton of the glue, go ahead and use them.
