Guinea Pig Toys and Play My boys' favorites are the big empty oatmeal container and the ever-lovely paper bag. |

I find that the free things are the best. My piggies love it when I stuff a toilet roll tube full of hay, they like to nibble it and pull the hay out. Just make sure you cut down the tube so that they can't get stuck. They also LOVE it when I put empty cereal boxes in their cage. I open it at both ends and they rocket up and down it like a tunnel. |

mine eat the paper bag :-( but a carrot on a string keeps them entertained for hours (and me, it's hilarious watching them try to catch it as it swings side to side!) |

you'd think, but they dodge it (it only swings coz they try to bite it) they love it, I wouldn't do it if it harmed them. |

Mine nibble holes in the bag. I sometimes cut the end off to make small tunnel on the lunch-sack-size bags. They don't really eat those. But when I leave them whole and stuff them with hey, they end up putting some holes in the bag. I do the same thing with newspaper, since I verified my newspaper printers use soy-based inks. I made newspaper hats with my son once and then we put them on the piggies. They tossed them around a bit and would run inside and out, then eventually pee on it. Oh, and I added that link to the main site, because this is also a very redundant question, which is easily searchable with the search function... but at least it's a fun topic. |

It sounds strange and simple but I have hung a fleece curtain, similiar to a bead curtain, in the cage and they run through it back and forth. I have hung veggies on a string across the cage and it is funny watching them get on thier hind legs and grab and pull them off. |

My guinea pigs love pop containers. (The card board ones) It makes perfect tunnels for them. |
