Cuddle Cups or Cuddle Sacks?

I'm going to make my piggies some cozies but what type should I make: cuddle cups or sacks?? Are there really any cons of either one? What do your piggies prefer? Does anyone have simple intructions on how to make either cozy? Sorry for all the questions and thanks everyone for your opinions!

Re: Cuddle Cups or Cuddle Sacks?

My pigs prefer sacks way over cups. In the sacks they can snuggle as well as hide, whereas in the cups they can only snuggle. Just make sure you ake them big enough to accomodate multiple piggies. My sacks were made while I only had one pig and she is only 1.75 lbs. The one we adopted a few months later, Radar, is almost 3 lbs. Let's just sa they don't quite fit in it together all that comfortably.

Re: Cuddle Cups or Cuddle Sacks?

I've only tried the sacks before (though I've recently ordered a cup online). Mine were more likely to sit atop the sacks than in them, but they seemed to enjoy doing that.

Re: Cuddle Cups or Cuddle Sacks?

My pigs don't like being out in the open in cups, so most definately sacks.

PiggieMom: True; if my girls like cuddle cups better, they can just sit on top of them - no need to make both! Thanks! = D

Re: Cuddle Cups or Cuddle Sacks?

My vote is neither - what my piggies adore is the huts I got through Jen's Custom Crafts (got the link from a site here). I do use the "sleeping bag" for lap time but they don't use it otherwise.

Re: Cuddle Cups or Cuddle Sacks?

Thanks iPiggy, I'll probably stick with sleep sacks. Seems like most piggies like them better.
