Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 wanting to make a cozie but worried about chewing? | | I have been meaning to make my girls cozies or cuddle cups for quite a while now... they are both in the basement of my house which believe it or not is not too terribly cold or drafty but sometimes it can get a lil colder the usual the bedding keeps them fairly warm but I would love to do more for them.
I have tired using baby blankets with them before but they always seems to end up chewing those and thats where my concern is for the cozies or the cuddle cups (whatever I end up making). I just don't want to have to pick it up every other day and make repairs on it or worrying the girls would ingest fleece.
I am estimating that if I was to give the girls more chew toys in the cage that this may take away their temptation of chewing on the fuzzy bits. I am thinking of buying some more chew toys for them soon and introducing those to them in the cage getting used to those, then try the the cozies after that.....(after they have gotten used to the idea of chewing on certan parts of the cage). They chew all the time what I would like to try and do is direct to certain things.
if this sounds like a good idea to you all please tell me so or if you have any other tips for me by all means I am more then happy to listen. |
