It's Hoovers belated birthday on Thursday (had to reschedule due to exams and money) and tomorrow I'm going to buy him some pressies, just stuck as to what to get him .

I picked up some fiddlesticks today (wooden logs, threaded on wire that can be molded to make tunnels, ramps, hidy houses etc), they seem to be a hit. Tropical Fiddlesticks Large - Pet Supplies - BizRate - Compare prices & buy - Discount - Price I got the large one.

Most pigs don't care that much for toys. Maybe a special treat like a kind of hay he's never had before or his favorite veggie.

My pigs love cheap, disposable toys. For their birthdays, I like to get them a present like a cozy pouch or cuddle cup, then use a paper bag as the gift bag, and stuff some unbleached packing paper into the bag on top. They have a blast "unwrapping" their presents!

I suggest just giving him a fun new activity to do. Like try stuffing a paper bag, or toilet paper tube with hay. My pig always has a blast with it. Although I don't tend to do it so often since he likes to eat the cardboard.

Mine love paper bags. They get really excited when they get one. They play with it for a while then eat it.

I wish he is a very dominant (he will have my hand off if I annoy him ) and pretty grumpy old man and he lives right next to girls so he would probabaly fight with a new male. Too old to be castrated too, we only got him when he was 6 =[
