Re: gravity feeder?

Are there different kinds? If there are, what kind should I get?

Re: gravity feeder?

The kind I got is at walmart for 5.00 dollars. Its in the cat aisle. It has a blue bowl bottom with clear plastic food holder. it's in my girls cage pic that I posted. Take a look and It will give ya an idea what it looks like.

Re: gravity feeder?

There is one with a "sifter feeder" on the bottom part (looks like wire mesh) and one that is just plastic with a few holes. I got the kind without metal because I thought the metal may rust. Probably not, just me. =)

There are, of course, different sizes as well.

Re: gravity feeder?

The cat food thing would take up too much room I think. I tried one in my outdoor run and it didnt work very well. my pigs sat in it and peed. That was the end of that. I think I need one that hangs off the cage bars.

Re: gravity feeder?

ya, i dont like gravity bin feeders either, but dont really dislike them either, i just don't think they're that much better or worse, they can be good though, no better or worse than the bowls though.
