Water Bottles

Inside of grid or outside of grids? I'm using a bent grid inside of the mesh cubes c&c cage.

Re: Water Bottles

I put mine on the outside because my **naughty** little piggies () will knock them down when they are in the inside. the grad the spout type thing and shake them around until they fall off.

Re: Water Bottles

Mine are inside the grids because I have an 18 mos old who will take it off and drink from it. I just attached it inside with pipe cleaners.

Re: Water Bottles

They're also called something else, I believe, I can't think of it off the top of my head though.

Re: Water Bottles

Chenille sticks is the other name. =) Hair ties also work well, so do scrunchies.

Re: Water Bottles

Is there something wrong with using a water bowl? I have a small weighted [doggie] water bowl. I've seen her drink out of it (and she is peeing too! hehe). And she hasn't knocked it or gotten it dirty.

Re: Water Bottles

Maybe because of instinct when they nurse when they're tiny?

Re: Water Bottles

Thats the problem. They'll pee in it and then they'll drink that dirty water. Also, the bowl may well get tipped over and create a wet piggy and cage!
