Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
Hello All. I have given my guinea pigs some of those critter beds, traditionally sold for ferrets, and they love them. My problem, however, is that the pigs use those beds as a toliet, which means I have to wash them every day. While I don't mind this, I would prefer not to have to do that. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to solve this problem? Thanks! |

maybe u should lift the beds off the ground area a bit and so your piggies won't use them as toliets |

Guinea pigs use every where and everything as a toilet. They will sit on top of their pigloos and leave you something up there. I have the little critter beds and hammocks for my gang. I just dump out any poop as I find it. I wash them if they wet in them but it mainly seems to be a poop thing. If they are not wet on, they are washed once a week and I have a second set to go in the cages. |

There really isn't a solution they either go or they don't! Some of mine don't go in their beds but others do. |
