Hey! I don't have a guinea pig yet, but I'm still looking for one to buy/adopt. I'm not having much luck. :-(

Anyways,

Before I get my guinea pig, I was wondering if any of you guys have any ideas for toys/accessories, to put in my cage? ANY sugestions would be very helpful! :-) hehe

Maybe some ideas with sewing, I can sew. Like maybe I can sew like a piece of fabric together. LoL

Give me ANY ideas.

hi. How many piggies do want to adopt? Ok...well, firstly you can get some fab ideas from the cage pictures on this website.
For the cage you need hidey holes. I think using a plastic stool is great. You can buy a pigloo,, but in my opinion they are too expensive!
You make a cozy since you said you like sewing. I made three last week and they took under 30 mins to make. If you get two peices of square fleece, then sew up three of the sides. Turn it inside out and roll over the top. And voila, a cozy!
You can also make a 'cube tunnel'. If you have any spare cubes, you can bend them, cover them with fabric and place them in the cage. What else..... Have you heard of fiddlesticks? They're really good as well.
I think simple things can be big hits with piggies. Things you find around the house, i.e. cereal boxes, tissue boxes, paper bags, scrunched up newspaper.

Ok, I've checked and there are four females. One in Williamsburg, one in Springfield, and a mother-daughter pair in Charlottesville. Hope this helps! =)

By the way, I found 2 male guinea pigs 2day, I went and saw them, they are so cute. They are babies, only 2 inches long, they are 1 week and a day old. :-)
