Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
What dimensions should I make my guinea pig cozies? I want them to fit two female guinea pigs. They're only a few months old right now, but I want to have the dimensions still fit them when they are adults. I was looking on ebay, and I saw one that had a 13'' wide x 15'' deep cozy. Would this be too big for a pair of 2 female adult guinea pigs, just enough, or should I aim for something bigger/smaller? |

Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 Hey. I dont know if that is big enough, but why dont you try and make it? It would be cheaper and you could always make a new one really easily once they are a bit bigger. |

Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 It should be ok if they're still pretty small. But if they're anything like my trio (they love to lie in their cozies sideways), you might want to make it a bit bigger. I make my cozies short lengthwise, and the width part longer (about 10" by 12" when completed). I'll include a pic of one as an example (hopefully it will show up). |

Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 Check out my photo in the gallery (http://www.cavycages.com/photos/show...cat=500&page=1). In the description is a link to the site where I got my instructions. However, it is definitely too small for 2 adult pigs so you might want to make it bigger. It was very easy to make. I used a baby receiving blanket for the outside and felt for the inside. It washes up great in the washing machine. I made two so that one was available while the other was in the laundry. |
